Gandhinagar City Guide
Located on the banks of Sabarmati River, Gandhinagar – the Capital of Gujarat is also known as the ‘Heart of Gujarat’. The city boasts of being the second planned city of India, designed by Indian Town Planners. The city got its name after Mahatma Gandhi who had spent an important part of his life here. Gandhinagar beholds the vibrant culture of Gujarat very well, celebrating festivals and following customs and traditions.
