Significance of Amarnath Dham Gandhinagar

White ashes from the Cave of Baba Amarnath that is located in Jammu and Kashmir, were brought here so that religious ceremonies that are performed in the great Himalayas can also be done here. The Shivlinga in AmarNath Dham that is made completely of ice is really stunning to watch as the holy majestic idol stands tall without any external or internal support.

It is believed that the idol came into existence on its own and does not melt for months. The Hindus from local areas as well as other parts of India visit here seeking blessings of Lord Shiva. The local people believe that the God has made its appearance in the form of ice. The famous Dwadash Jyotirlingas are also placed here.
